“Dad, how did it happen?” Sanket asks in a whining tone.
“The course of life… Suchitra never liked to express her pain either it’s your going abroad and never returning or be it her ailment. Lastly she longed for you a lot. But now all her suffering has been deceased.” Placidly sitting Abhijat explains.
After all the post demise rituals,
“I am going to book the tickets. There’s no point in living all alone here. We’ll later on think about selling this house.” Sanket says to father.
“I won’t be alone. Suchitra has arranged for my solitude. ” Abhijat hands over some documents.
There was a letter and a cheque,
“Dear Sanket,
All we had was you and we let you free to fly high. That’s what we intend to do one more time. Gifting you a small portion of our assets and leaving behind this house and the best father in the world for the kids who need both the most!
