5. Why do bad things happen to good people?
The answer is a matter of personal belief and interpretation. There is no single ‘perfectly right’ answer. But, what makes sense to me is that life is so random that good or bad things can happen to anyone, regardless of their actions or character. Suffering can simply be a result of odd events, accidents, or the complex interconnectedness of the world. Good people might face challenges that test their resilience, compassion, and faith just because they consciously possess those qualities more than the others. Witnessing and trying to alleviate the pain of those around them might take a significant emotional toll. But, it’s life and nothing is permanent and whatever comes ultimately has to go, bestowing us with more strength and understanding.
